CURRENT STUDENT REGISTRATION

Dear Parents and Guardians of the Paton Churdan Community School District, Paton Churdan will use an Online Registration (OLR) process for our 2024-2025 School Registration. Online registration will be available to students currently attending Paton-Churdan in grades PK-12.

If you are a staff member with PCSD you MUST use your Parent Portal log-in and NOT your staff log-in to Infinite Campus.

ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS

Paton-Chudan Community School District's online registration gives families a more efficient experience and will not require an in–person visit. Paper forms are NOT available. Registration fees will be able to be paid online using Infinite Campus or mailed to the district office.

Online registration is processed through Infinite Campus, the district’s student management system. To access online registration you MUST have a username and password for the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you currently have a Parent Portal username and password, you are ready to begin using the online registration. If you need to obtain your username and password, please contact Heather Lansman at hlansman@paton-churdan.k12.ia.us or call 515-389-3111 and leave a message. 

Families who MAY NOT have access to a computer/internet connection are encouraged to schedule an appointment to work from one of our kiosk stations. To reserve the kiosk station, please call the district office at 515-389-3111. Appointments are available in one-hour increments, from 8 am – 3 pm, Monday – Friday, beginning August 1.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Step 1: Please register existing students. A video tutorial is available to assist you if you need it. 

      EXISTING STUDENTS ~  Please log-in to the PARENT PORTAL to access the online registration.

 

Step 2: Pay fees and add funds to lunch accounts if needed.

     Once your registration application has been approved & posted, the appropriate fees will be assigned to your parent portal.

  • Log in to your Parent Portal.

  • Select the fees tab.

  • IF you do not qualify for free or reduced lunch, click the blue tab and add each child’s registration fee to your cart. 

  • Then click the “Optional Payments” Button– select any optional payments for each student you would like to add to your cart. (Example booster club dues or activity passes.)

  • Before you check out you will want to click on the ”food service” tab then click the blue “PAY” button to add lunch money to any account.

Step 3: Review the health requirements and complete the appropriate health forms for your child(ren).

 

Step 4: Provide the necessary school supplies for your child(ren). 

 

Step 5: Sign up for school closing notifications.

  • Text @pccsd to 81010 to receive school closings and other important notifications.  

 

Step 6: Sign up for free and reduced breakfast and lunch programs if you qualify. 

Free and reduced price lunch and breakfast programs are available for eligible families.  Eligible families are also allowed to file a school fee waiver/reduction.  Please fill the waiver form out as well as the free-reduced lunch/breakfast application and return the application forms to the school office.  We encourage you to apply, even if you are not sure about qualifying.
